Free for collection, fully working Sky + box. South Oxon near Wallingford

Hi Berin,

Could I take this please? Ours has been playing up recently. I can collect it tomorrow afternoon when I pop over for the iPhone tom tom thingy.

Cheers

Skid

Although Skid has asked for the Sky box, he's since found he has a spare - if anyone else wants it let me know, otherwise Skid will take it.

Sam Manicom T-Shirt XL/XXL

I bought this off Sam during the summer. Was a bit of a mix up with sizing so I never wore it, I'm an L. Its a bit wrinkled from being stored but absolutely as new and I'll have it in the original wrapper for you.

Postage is €2 to Ireland and €4 to UK. Apart from postage all I ask is that whoever wants it if possible make a donation to http://www.kidneyresearchuk.org/ or http://www.transplantsport.org.uk/

Measures 23" from armpit to armpit when flat so that may cover a few of the XXL people too?

Router - DrayTek Vigor 2600G

Hi.

I got a new BT Router the other day and the engineer left the old Router - DrayTek Vigor 2600G - sitting on the sideboard.

I don't know much about it because I'm as thick as a thick thing, but I know it works. Free (well - you will pay the postage :D ) until say 11th December (the day before Bin Day :D ) after which I'll be popping it inside the wheelie bin, where it will go to the great Router Graveyard in the Sky .

Free standing/mobile zircon ...

Now, this is no pristine designer unit. It's well used but works just fine. New hose included. has a few blades missing/broken from the up/down vent.

Great for a workshop.

Pick up only from Reading. If no takers, it's off to the tip.

Skip.

Too good to bin - WW2 era vehicle handbooks

Very, very old vehicle handbooks

Any old vehicle enthusiasts on here? Military historians?

Clearing out and came across some of my old man's books dating back to WW2. He was in RE Motor Transport. Maintenance and driving instruction. Even commuted on a Triumph when I was wearing shorts to school. My good lady would have put these straight in the bin, but there has to be someone who just wants that last little detail of authenticity in their old vehicle or workshop. These are all well thumbed but pretty much all in one piece and a part of history.

In no particular order.

1. The Book of the Rudge 1948 2/6 or half a crown to you sir.
2. Instruction book for the Royal Enfield 350 side valve model W.D./C. September 1940.
3. Motor Cycling Electrical Manual - Bernal Osborne 1950 5/- to you sir.
4. Operation Manual for the Morris 14/6 series 3 late 30s. 1/6 to you sir.
5. Operation Manual for the Morris 12/4 series 3 late 30s. 1/6 to you sir.
6. Operation Manual for Morris 10 cwt van and truck series Y. 1/6 to you sir.
7. Ford Motor Vehicle Mechanism No.3 The Electrical System 1942.
8. Scammel Driver's Handbook 6x4 tractor heavy artillery and breakdown.
9. Bedford Mechanic's Handbook May 1941 - sorry cover is missing 15 cwt to 3 ton.
10. Diesel Maintenance - TH Parkinson 1944 - hardback book.
11. Checking Bedford Maintenance - published by Vauxhall Motors - April 1944 - issued only to and through commissioned officers. "A booklet for those officers whose responsibility it is to make sure that the 16 Tasks and AB406 inspections are being conscientiously carried out".
12. Instruction book for Guy "Quad-Ant" war office chassis. 53 pages.
13. Dragon, Medium, Mark IV instruction book 1939 - "designed for the haulage of artillery equipment is a self propelled motor vehicle of the track laying type". Powered by AEC.
14. Questionnaires - engine, fuel supply, transmission, etc. Bedford 30 cwt. 1941.

The prices above are list prices on covers of course :)

I just need P&P IYKWIM
