Hey Rich, do you keep them in a pen? Driving home this afternoon through Uphampton and a fox shot under a driveway gate with a chicken in its mouth. Broad daylight, as brazen as you like!

Luckily I don't keep them at all, the cockerel came from the Isle of Wight, at my stepsons place.
I've managed to re home him with friends in Pershore but I well know how ruthless foxes are,that's why I get called to trap / shoot them. They're ruthless killers and badgers will do exactly the same after dark. I've got a few customer that have lost all their chickens to foxes and badgers.
Mind you the cockerel was a feisty bugger, he had a right go at me when I was trying to put him ina transport box. I'm suet he'd have given a fox a run for his money.
Great fun boarding the ferry though with him crowing from the back seat - got a few strange looks.
