keep feeding it for another month and it will be fat enough for a meal
Pah. I would have rehomed that in the garden pond with the other fishies if you hadn't been so far away!
I have a damaged front wheel from a 2010 GSA to give away. I hit a piece of wood on a v-dark section of motorway a couple of years ago believe it or not, it was a railway sleeper that had come off the back of a low loader!.... It was dark and one hell of a bang, but a real testament to the build quality of the bike that the only damage was the wheel rim.
Dinked the rim, but didn't drop the bike and as I was heading out on holiday at the time, I simply bought a complete new wheel to get back on the road and get back underway asap.
The rim is clearly damaged and the wheel unusable, however it's free to anybody who wants it for spare parts (hub, spokes etc)
Drop me a message and let me if its of interest or I'll probably just bin it otherwise as I've recently traded the GSA for an S1000r Sport.
Cheers, Paul
Here's an idea for the arty types with hunting, camping lodges etc......
Bang it straight with a rubber mallet. Or used something to absorb the damage but get energy onto it along that bent edge.
Drill three or four holes around the edge at equal spacing, then add some decent looking, ornate chain to each hole, bring them together in a small mounting ring so that you can screw it to the ceiling of your "Man Cave"
Then...... Mount in or on a light fitting, either to shine below the hub, giving good light, and a spoke pattern on the ceiling, or above the hub, projecting good light to the ceiling and a spoke pattern to the floor. For the electric wiring, you can use a variety of twin core wire that can be camouflaged into one of the chain hangers.
I hope this makes sense.
So who is going to make it?
