Non-bike related Free Stuff ........

Not sure what time you have lunch but mine was an hour ago - the magazines are gone, with the exception of one issue that someone expressed an interest in.

I agree it's a waste but nobody seemed interested in them as a job lot and I certainly wasn't going to offer them all individually - life's too short.

I have to admit I didn't think of a charity shop (do they sell magazines?) but it's too late now.

Our local charity shops won't take them, something to do with copyright rules they told me.

Jerry Can + extras ...

... also on my local Freecycle, so be quick. Extras include a detachable spout and about 10L of unleaded of dubious provenance. Can itself is in very good condition, spout is starting to rust but seal is ok. Collection only from West Devon, but may be able to meet nearby.

Free to anyone who can use them, RAM Modules removed from MAC computers when upgrading the memory.

1 x 1GB 2Rx 16 PC2-6400S-666-12-A3, Samsung

2 x 2GB 2Rx 8 PC3-8500S-07-00-F0, Samsung

Both working fine when removed but not recently tested, no reason to think they'll not work fine.

If anyone can use them, just cover post by sticking a couple of quid in a charity box.

Ram arrived to day. Not fitted yet. Thanks a bunch. JJH

Touratech IMO - 100 - R300

Ok, it's a Touratech rally computer and it worked perfectly well when I took it off the bike but it's been sat on a shelf for a couple of years so does it work now? If I knew for sure it'd be in the for sale section rather than free :D

What I'd like is for someone to have it for the cost of the postage and if they find it works make a sensible donation to Macmillan. If it doesn't work well you've lost about a fiver in postage but these things normally go for around £200 so it's not exactly a massive gamble. What's a sensible donation? Well that's up to you, it's a worthwhile cause so make your own mind up.

Bearing in mind that it might need a bit of looking at don't have it if you're just going to connect it to the battery and if it doesn't light up throw it away cursing me for being a crook. I've got a couple of aluminum brackets that can be adapted to suit various bikes and there's a bracket to mount the sensor to a set of WP forks along with a new magnet that can be glued into the front disc if you've got a KTM. Other bikes might need a new sensor bracket making and a means to fit a magnet but that shouldn't be beyond anyone who's actually going to want one of these computers.

I can add photos or you can simply look on the internet, whichever suits you best.

Grab it quick before I find the time and enthusiasm to test it and set a price for it but even then the money goes to Macmillan.
