Non-bike related Free Stuff ........

Was good to meet you today Mr Bean, apologies again for the delay in getting to you. :thumb2

Compressor now secured. Will have a tinker with it to see if I can get it working and I'll add it to the "Grizz" pile and run it down to him in the next week or so.

Sounds ominous.

Grizz pile.

I was in Colchester Kawazaki today.

But not in my own car.

Thank you @Mr Bean

No problem, I'm confident you'll get it working.

Glad I didn't have to skip it.

I just did, and it wasn't difficult and cost nothing but time :thumb2

I'll post the proper update in Grizz's thread as that's the compressor's new home :thumb2
On the back of this, I’d like to give a shout out to Brian O for getting in contact.

I was a bit frustrated that I couldn’t take up this generous offer of a compressor for my garage, but Brian got in touch to say he’d inherited one that was mine if I could use it, and he was only half an hour away from Preston.

Now neatly installed and working perfectly in my garage… Cheers Brian 😊👍

Any budding referees in your family?
Here's a little starter kit for them. The stopwatch is working but it's on it's original battery so goodness knows how little life there is left in it. 20240714_132453.jpg

I still have these two monitor stands, will take up to a 35" monitor (I had 2 x 32" Samsungs on them) very solid, very secure, free on collection from Warrington. They also have integrated cable management and are as good as new. They are £60 each on Amazon so not bad as a freebie, need them gone out of the way.

locked out

To join in the essence of this thread. i came across a stash of padlocks in my garage at the weekend.
They were intended for use on Heavy plant fuel caps and battery cases.
They are marked CAT and i have 12 of them

They are Free of charge but i will need to charge carriage.
i will find out what this is liable to be for Friday.

One thing i will say is

They are all keyed alike...which may or may not cause a problem.:blast

I have an 8 man khyam rigidome tent that is well used but still servicable. It's an original heavy canvas tent with the poles attached to the canvas. Very easy and quick to erect. Collection from BB18 area. 25kg ish so won't fit on a bike rack:ROFLMAO:
