Non main dealer alternative to SPC?

Hi all,
Wonder if you can suggest a non main dealer to service my GS in leiu of the closure of SPC? Would need to be someone who can do the whole job properly!
(Does it really matter if someone else does it?)
I did ask my local Aprilia dealer and they said they were not interested in doing servicing my GS. The reason? Apparently BMW charge a prohibitive amount for their diagnostic computer kit. The general service is apparently very straight forward!

Try Barry Barber. He's near Portsmouth. He will collect your bike for you if needed and bring it back.

He can get error codes read at Vines where he buys his parts.
