Hi,

I finally got my Zega-Pro Sondersystem fitted (looks nice, and photos will follow), and to my unhappiness I've discovered that my Laser Duo-Tech sits "some what" higher than the oem can, which means that it nudges against the left side box.

As if I didn't have anything else to use my money on:mad:, I've been thinking if getting a different muffler would be an idea.

Does anyone know if the Akrapovic, BOS, or Remus sits at the same hight as the OEM muffler?

Remus Exhaust

Got a Remus on my 09 GS, fits no problem with standard BMW panniers. Also fitted straight through downpipes, bike runs a lot better.:augie

Metal Mule Panniers system requires new exhaust, contact them and you should have the answer.

The exhaust is higher and closer to the wheel.

Looks good to, the exhausts are made for Meta Mule by Scorpion.

Got a titanium Akrapovic on my 1200GSA. I never measured but there seems the same clearance with the OEM panniers as there was with the standard can.

I'd love to have an Akraprovic muffler (sounds great without the db-killer), but unfortunately it's slightly too expensive for me right now - but I might be lucky and my dealer will help out as he sold me the bike with the Laser on....

Otherwise I'll pick up and 2nd hand OEM and use that until I'll find some money.

Thanks.
