Hi folks

I recently bought a lovely GSA and only today noticed that it has replacement headers with cat removed!

What concerns me a little is that the end bit (just as it goes into the silencer) rubs against the final drive (see pic). Even if I moved the bracket round it would still rub against the pipe

It only does it when the bike is on the side or centre stand. Any other time the shock moves and there is about an inch gap.

It seems weird to me and i dont feel comfortable with it. Maybe a botched job?

Before I try and fix it or replace the headers I thought I should check with the assembled intelligentsia on this here forum. Is it normal? Or not?

Thank you in advance

Mark

That is kin shoddy... This would make me think about what standard the rest of the machine has been maintained too

First thing I'd do would be to re-position the clamp and see how it pans out from there.

On standard headers there is a good 20mm of clearance ,might be wise to slacken everything off and see if you can move things around to give a bit more clearance

it worked!

You guys were right!

Brilliant :thumb2

The front bracket had loosened up and the whole system had gone wonky (hope I spelt that right :))

All fixed now! :JB

Thank you esteemed forum members :beerjug:
