Need urgent help from experts here. Will the peashooters designed by Norman Hyde fit the BMW R80? Or is it a futile exercise? If these won't fit easily then is there an alternative at roughly the same price that will produce a similar sound?

I am looking for something similar to these pipes or the British Custons Predators which are too pricey, I am told.

Any advice or comments welcome. Thanks

I have replica Dunstal Decibels on my R75/7 and they fitted right on to the stock bracket, even cleared the brake pedal without a dent in them.
Look and sound good, took a bit dialing in but eventually they added a little performance too.
Mine came from Trojan Classics in Oz, look better than the Flatracer ones, though I have bought a bit from them and it has all been excellent quality.

I had a pair of commando silencers on my 100/7 for a while. It needed a step down section of pipe on each side to get them to fit.

The commando silencers didn't sound good at high rpm. They were designed for a 750 long stroke engine. The BMW stroke is obviously quite short

The commando peashooters are available with a smaller inlet or certainly used to be. Try RGM Norton.
