North Hampshire trails 23rd Oct 2005

Mrs Patch is away with the kids for the weekend of 22nd 23rd October leaving me to my own devices.

Thought I'd offer to lead an exploration of some trails around my particular corner of Hampshire.

Although I'll be on the Armstrong (if I can get it started ) I have done most of these on a GS with TKC's, I think that some of them will be a bit slippy for tourances but after watching some of you at the tank training area I guess you'll cope anyway.

Start point will be Basingstoke should take about 4-5 hours including a stop for lunch.

Probably going to have to postpone this as I have bust my hand.

Was checking a few of the lanes out on Thursday and hit a rut real fast and wound up in a hedge. Knew I'd dislocated my thumb but as it wasn't getting any better went to A&E to get it checked out and an X-Ray revealed a fracture.

Appontment at the fracture clinic on Tuesday and I'll know then how long I am off the bike for.

Hand is fractured, no riding for me at the moment. I have an appoitment to check healing progress on 1st November.

I am going quietly crazy not riding.
