Anyone fancy an easy trail-ride before Whitewebbs?

Say a 6pm start?

WindyChuffer does and I would if a few wanted to join in.

Who's in?

Greg

Greg if your ok with a noob on Trailwings i'll join you

Never been green laning before but i'm up for it, i'm in cheshunt :thumb2

Come along. It'll be fun. I'll be on my 1200GSA which I haven't taken off road before.

Just the bollocks this time

Hi Greg,

Not going to risk anymore off the trade in on my 07 GS, so will give this one a miss. I hope I will have the courage to risk my new 09 SE when it arrives. If not I'll borrow the wifes wee f650 :D

Have fun. See you at Whitewebbs.

Regards,

Path.

'Easy' trail ride

Greg, thanks for leading the 'easy' trail ride this evening. Very enjoyable if a little fast. I put it down to having the slowest bike !

WindyChuffer, I hope you don't have to spend too long cleaning your pride and joy. BTW I think there is a rear seat for sale on ebay !

Looking forward to the next green laning event.:beerjug:

Me too (crap day but not pissed!) had to work tonight but was gonna go straight to Holborn from Whitewebbs.
Unfortunately late this afternoon I decided to fit my new Odyssey battery which is a right bugger, instructions say it's a snug fit but not happy with the connections/terminals so have to finish tomorrow  Couldn't use the old battery cos it died on Monday (aged 5 years)
Post some pics chaps, weather was good too, damn an blast!

Well thx for rescuing my pillion seat (that flew off when the bash plate bottomed out). Cleaning the bike will truly be a tiresome affair. Take it for a local polish handjob - 8 hands rubbing 'n' polishing my large steed whilst standing up; all for a fiver.

Thx to Greg for some "easy" greenlaning. Cool tracks !:)

Note to self - dont try and ride a 1200GSA like a DRZ.

There were four of us who made the ride last night – bumble beemer (DR-Z 400 S), WindyChuffer (R1200GSA), RadioActive (650GS Dakar) and me on my ‘Berg.

We started out at SBW in Hertford and rode pretty much the same circuit that was used on the Lord-A-Leaping rideout on 3rd Jan – except last night we completed the circuit in a little over 2 hours.

I enjoyed the ride immensely and I have to say that John’s post above if the first time that I’ve been accused of going too fast on the trails!

Greg

Thanks for leading the rideout Greg. It was great fun and you found some tracks I didn't know about even though they were on my works doorstep. I think I'm a bit pedestrian though and unfortunately it's nothing to do with the bike so sorry if I held you guys up!
