I am hoping to come along to the pub with the old man (F800ST) unless it is absolutely p***ing it down.
I hate to say this but .... I've never ridden the GS650 in the rain!!!

As there's only Mark and me up for the rideout (and he has road tyres), we'll cancel for this month and try again in August.

Rain is really no problem - as long as you've got the right gear you won't even get wet, you'll just leave puddles all over the floor when you arrive. Your braking distances will be slightly longer, but I'm guessing you don't ride very fast (?!).
You're going to have to ride in rain some time so why not tomorrow? Hope to see you there, some female company would be welcome

4 weeks will soon past get yourself a tube of Perskindol cream rub this on up to 4 times a day Its brilliant, I just had a hip job and this has helped my thigh muscles recover much faster take care. Bill

It was nice to meet you guys last night.
Simon is still not convinced by the whole GS thing but I know I love my bike. Had a great ride home and managed to keep up with him (F800ST) ... what's 14bhp between husband and wife?!!! My bike is loads better.
