North London meeting - Thursday 10th Sept 2009

To alternate with Eynsford, we have a regular meeting on the 2nd Thursday each month.

There will be the usual beakchat and bollox at Whitewebbs House, Whitewebbs Lane, Enfield, Middlesex EN2 9HW from 7.30pm.

The place is a Toby Inn, so nosebag is available.

Thanks, got there a little after 7, I was late due to stopping a lorry out of Harlow a 3663 delivery vehicle, as I left Harlow there was desiel, in its normal curve, on the bend of the roundabout, there in front was the lorry, so I chased it, got behind, and could smell it, so I pulled along side sure enough, the fuel filler cap was missing, I thought he needs to be told being I was in my Hi vis jacket and white helmet, He looked worried when I pointed for him to stop, I gave him, a short message about the law as (I am a hgv driver), as well as being a biker. What was funny his excuse was," I am only a night trunk driver", and did not know it was missing, what a twat.I then gave him my bikers reply to that.I left him making contact with his depot.

Only Motoscott had arrived and left before me, but the night was not wasted as I popped around mum's.

Then I had a great ride home.

Tom will they be open as when I drove up to the premisises they had carpet and all sorts out side the rear, looked like a long job.
If they are I am up for it.or we could phone on wednesday am
