North London meeting - Thursday 12th June 2008 - Green Lanes rideout & Photo evening!

To alternate with Eynsford, we have a regular meeting on the 2nd Thursday each month.

Meet at Whitewebbs House, Whitewebbs Lane, Enfield, Middlesex EN2 9HW from 7.30pm.

There will be a group photograph at 8pm (DH, please bring your camera). Please park your bikes in formation on the lawn at the far end of the building. Claire will be organising you all.

No orange bikes or jap-crap for this event please - only pure Bavarian iron!

The place is a Toby Inn, so nosebag is available.

Pathologic and I will definately be at Whitewebbs. I can make a ride-out beforehand, and Pathologic could join us part way round if someone posts the route. Just one request - I haven't done any off roading so will need patience, instruction and possible rescue. Also, I'm on Tourances so it needs to be a route suitable for road tyres!

OK, a short off-road ride it will be.

The RV will be at The Rookery, Welham Green at 18.00hrs.

The route will avoid deep water and will take in a number of trails that should all be GS-able, even on road tyres (there is only a little rain forecast this week so it shouldn't be too muddy). I will be on my DR-Z but on road tyres.

I will aim to get you back to Whitewebbs by 8pm for the photocall. Mark will be arranging bike washing and make-up.

Can I ask for a show of hands - only to know if we should wait a few minutes for late arrivals?

Pathologic and I will be there for the ride out. My bike is still dirty from the 'heels on wheels' weekend, so I hope Mark's got a power hose - but I think I'll use my own make-up thanks.
