Timpo.. would you mind if i tagged along on that one. ???
Will you be suppling the machette? :D

Given the recent weather a life raft may be more useful. I thought I might have needed one when I went through the pictured ford on Friday evening. I did chicken out of one on Sunday near the rifle range Llansilin as I couldn't remember what it was like normally and the river was in full flood.
A helpful hit for you Rocks is to make sure that you've got a good rear tyre as, given the recent weather, I suspect Timpo :green gri will bring 17 tonne weak bridge lane is back into play. Of course there may be worse place in store:eek:

By the looks of it Tim won't have the excuse:blast sorry handicap of having to carry a fuel can this time;)

I just hope that I can make it:thumb2

Derwen-Deg Ford at Llansilinn, was very bad on Sunday Hew, and the landslide in the lane just before it caused a bit of a problem. I had to warm the Warn 8274 up a bit to get my Defender, then two Discoverys through the hole.
The water across the ford was halfway up the Defenders doors. Hobbes was not a happy chappie!:augie
This is on the route for the next ride, hope the Council don't repair it beforehand, as Timolgra could try his green tail-end bouyancy aid out.

Any KTMers fancy a swim?:green gri
Recovery is extra cost.:thedummy

I am so glad that I did not have that f***it moment and launch into that ford. Especially as I didn't have Tim's buoyancy aid:D
Mark still has fond memories of weak bridge lane:beerjug:
