I got a bit of time spare and the DRZ needs a run, so I can lead a run out around the Mold, Ruthin and Denbigh area of North Wales this coming Sunday, 5th November.
Should manage a 100 mile loop before it gets dark and some of the lanes are a little tricky due to recent rain fall. :clap
Fuel is available and a breakfast stop at a cafe can be arranged.
Once I've got an idea of numbers interested and where they are coming from, I will give details of a meeting point and time.
Regards.
Timpo.

Yes count me in.
I went out and about yesterday and got some more practise in.
Like I said in a previous post the KLX is a little slow on the road but fine once on the loose stuff.

Wow I cannot believe that there has not been more interest in this.
Is it still on?

sunday

Believe me, im interested, its just a long way from North Lincs tho.
Daaaammmmmnnnnnnnn.

I should be doing Hafren tho, even tho im totally new to the "sport". (DrzE & Gs100)

It's on.

Sorry for no contact, it's still on.
Total lack of interest though......f^ck knows why??
If anybody wants a ride around the Mold and Ruthin area tomorrow, we are meeting on the Ewloe Hill at 0900 just opposite the Plough pub or at the Mold Esso petrol Station at 0915.

Timpo.

I'll be at the Esso garage in Mold 9.15. that is the big garage on the bypass isn't it?

Had a great day. Fantastic tracks and lanes. No photos as I was either ridding the bike or recovering. :o I think that I will be paying in the morning.
It was a well put together route and although I know the basic area I've no idea where we went. Hope I didn't hold you back too much and I promise to practice opening and closing the gates before coming again.
Thanks Timpo :thumb

Oh yes....

Hew, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
You did well, and no spills...that I knew of anyway?
It's really surprises me why more people don't come on these jaunts, and then postings being put on this forum left right and centre about visiting areas and paying good money out to ride on unsealed roads. :nenau
I will be running another trip out real soon, details to follow.
Regards.

Timpo, I think many are wary of an offroad day using their big GS when it's being led by a puka trail bike.

Anyway when you do the next one I'd like to come along with the DR :thumb

Nobody gets left behind.

Humbug.
I can cater for all types of machinery and rider ability.
Nobody gets left behind.
I look forward to my next outing and it will be posted on here to try and entice some interest in experiencing the green lanes I know. I will try and give a little more notice of the ride-out next time.
Cheers.
Timpo.

Sorry, I must have missed your post, Clare and I were out on the trails on Sunday. If I'd realised there was another trip going on we could have joined forces. Next time :)

Ok Timpo, see if you can get one sorted for the end of Nov or beginning of Dec. :)

I'm back from Morocco 20 nov and assuming I'm still in one piece I'll bring my PD along :thumb
