A few of us are heading to North Wales from ireland for 2 days, out on the first ferry on Saturday and back last ferry Sunday. Has anyone any good routes to take? Have previously done horseshoe pass, around bets y coed,Llanberis and pen y pas, cymru castle, llandudno.

All of us on GS's apart from one on a gsxr and tbh we wouldn't mind a few lanes or single track because his headset can't talk to us and can only hear 🤣

Your a star mate. Have a map and using Google maps to try plan routes with pics stops, coffee stops and cake stops is fun🤣

Take the mountain road from Llanuwchlyn (the other end of Lake Bala from Bala town) over the Bwlch Y Groes to Lake Vyrnwy for a coffee at the cafe there. Its the highest pass in Snowdonia. A spectacular road. Back to Bala via the other single track through Rhos Y Gwaliau.

Llandudno to Betws y coed (don't go in to betws) straight on at waterfall next right to Blaenau Ffestiniog, then on to Dolgellau up to cross foxes pub turn right heading for Machynlleth (via Mach loop) watch out for low flying planes) over New bridge turn left into high Street (coffee stop on left 400 metres) carry on passed tyre centre on right, turn right through golf course, tight left over bridge (caution) enjoy the road. You can stop at Llyn clywedog reservoir. On to Aberystwyth (bike parking on prom next to cafe) then same way back.
