Northern Tyres / free weekend

Hi All
went "Up North" on Saturday for some new rubber, called at GM tyres in Tandragee,fine establishment, pair of tourances, £165,(thats about 200 euro). coup of coffe £0.00
in and out in less then 45 min, discovered i have a small buckle on the back, "thats why there is so much weight on the rim", often wondered about that, pair of same in Dublin, 280 euro.
used the extra euros for a B&B, did 7 photo rally locations, so tyres still cost the same, but got a weekend away for free!

They are only four miles over the road from me and I have heard good reports about them right enough and they are £10 cheaper than the guy I usually go to.

Still, it's a bloody good saving for you, not to mention the free weekend.

Sounds like a pretty good deal there chris. My rear tyre will need replacing soon.Were they able to balance your rear wheel?

They balanced the wheel, and instead of the great big lump of lead that was on the wheel, it now has some taller but smaller weights,so it dosent look bad
