Northumberland Back Roads for Yorkshire Tykes

Yeah thanks Pete that was absolutely brilliant !!! A great intro to off road riding. Thanks to Rob ( I think, I'm hopeless with names ) as well for taking the tail position and helping me get my bike upright when I parked so foolishly :blast

About 380 miles door to door for me so I'm a bit knackered, that wouldn't stop me doing it again tomorrow though if could :)

How windy was it??!!

I even had the best nearest high side I have ever had on the GS. Knobblies, wet Tarmac and a heavy right hand made sure of that :augie

Great lead and sweeper, cheers gents. I'll be back with some sun.
 
Many thanks Peter for organising such a good ride - don't worry about the weather, that's biking for you. It only means that people want to come back again when the sun is shining.

Thanks to Rob also for sweeping, and a thank you from Sandra for making her feel so welcome - in fact it was a great group to ride with.

Will certainly be back up in the area now we have had a taste of it.
