Brakes work great …… that’s the good news!

Only around 5 miles from home, overtook a car and lost all power and engine died

Turns over (or it did until the battery died) but will not start, fuel pump sounds a bit grim. Have called RAC and they reckon anytime from 4.15 to 6.10

I’m down a country lane, just off the road in an entrance to a house. I am classed as disabled (due to lung cancer) but really don’t like to play on it unfortunately only 5 miles from home, so wife says she will bring water if I need it, currently shading behind the bike

Thanks Mike, really appreciate the offer, but I don’t think it’s a roadside fix and RAC say they will be here in an hour or 2 could be worse at least the sun is shining

Well it was like this ….

Last weekend I removed the ABS, not saying it was me ……. But somebody who we won’t name (Howard) didn’t make sure one of the QF fuel connectors was properly seated

Luckily spotted before the arrival of Mr RAC who I have cancelled….Mr dickhead is back home with a cold drink.
