I am off work this week and I had a spare morning so off I went

set off from Tromode and headed the wrong way around the TT course to the Creg pub. One of the best roads over here at the minute is the back road from the Creg to Laxey as the majority of it has been resurfaced

Dropping down the lanes into Laxey Village

I popped into the new café at Laxey Wheel for a cake and a brew, then had a look to see if the Wheel was still there

From here I headed north along the coast road up to Ramsey, a few picture of Ramseys Pier that’s having lots of cash spent on it just to stop it falling into the sea

I followed the coast road to the Cronk then on the lanes to north of Bishops Court

Good memeories indeed and nice to see again .. my Mum and Dad lived in a cottage at Crossfourways for 14 years and we always had a couple of holidays a year there .. and each year we'd find somewhere or something we'd never seen before .. love the place :thumb2
