Have decided to spend some wonga on Remus headers ( GS 1200 08 ). Is the product made from stainless steel, and if so , does it remain tarnish-free, ( not like the existing turd brown which mine have gone on the standard headers, with a faint tinge of blue).

And also, cost effective places to purchase, with best price. Should I budget for around £330 ?

Any advice will be welcomed ! pref sensible !

Hi

Got remus headers on my 08 GSA from new. They are dis-colouring at 6000 miles but no worse than factory headers. They are definitely worth the money. I think I got mine from NN but can't remember the price....

Stainless steel headers will go brown but very easy to polish out if you keep on top of it:thumb

If they do go seriously brown you can slosh some 'wonder wheels' on them which will shift the brown like magic. Application of some metal polish will then shine them up. Don't do this on chromed pipes.

They'll go brown. Elbow grease and autosol will shine them up temporarily.

Contact sadjim of this site re. headers - he can more than often do you a 'special deal'

Hi :thumb There's quite a few of us from the Bromley / Beckenham area. Quite often go to some of the Newlands Corner rideouts............keep an eye out in the South East section.
