Left the bike for a couple of months due to commitments try to start it the other day and it would only run on one cyclinder. Checked the plug that was sparking but swapped it for the other pot, but it would still not fire on the second cyclinder. So checked injector that was spraying fuel.
Whats gone wrong why would it run fine 2 months ago and now only one pot.
Help I've tried kicking the tyres and that didn't make a difference.

Ditto......

Have a look particularly at the right hand cable at the throttle body end...

How long before the famous photo gets posted again ?? :D :D

Thanks

You lot are a bloody marvel it was a displaced injector cable.
Thanks guys.

My question is, if the bike was running ok before it was left alone for a while, how come the cable was displaced.?

in my experience - 90% of all faults are owner related.

"honest, mate - i haven't touched it - it just started playing up" - yeah, rrrright

chad :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

In my case I'd replaced the de-cat pipe with the original cat and unwittingly dislodged the cable in the process.

It’s good that there are so many knowledgeable people on this website willing to help an ignorant sole.

I did exactly the same and was about to phone BMW Warantee when I found it. :)
