Not loading all the info

I have a guest here who's 660 is giving problems . I have downloaded several routes from mapsource and each time it does not use all of the waypoints.
A route with 21 waypoints loads on with 13, for instance. The missing waypoints can be found in favourites though. The routes have been used all summer with no problems on all types of Garmin devices

Our guest's machine recalculates and takes him on very strange routes. I suspect this is because of the missing waypoints It also does not record everything in the track log so it is hard to see what actually happened.

hello John, I know that his is an old thread but did you ever find the solution ?
Loading my Zumo 660 for a trip to France next week and I have a similar problem. I first noticed that on one route, approx 30km from the destination the via points stopped and the map indicated a straight line [ ignoring all roads ]. The estimated time / mileage for the route are obviously also wrong.
Subsequent checks have shown other routes but NOT all with a similar problem. As you say the missing points are visible in favourites. I've spent 2 days and have exhausted all the options I'm aware of. Any suggestions [ other than BUY A MAP ] will be gratefully considered.
