Found a US supplier who may be able to supply some sensible raising links.

Anyone who has wound a couple of lines of pre-load onto the rear shock will be well aware how much better the bike tunrs, but at the expense of ride quality.

I hope to get prices for a link to lift the back around 10mm, this is enough to sharpen the (rather dull) OE steering without being extreme or stopping too many folk from reaching the floor. It will also help with the somewhat limited ground clearance.

They will be stronger than OE according to the (Former Aerospace QC inspector) who will be knocking them up.

If anyone else is interested let me know and I will see if I can do a deal on shipping more than one set.

The US fella has not got anything sorted yet, but Lust Racing now have a 10mm kit available via E-Bay and should be up on their own site soon.

I reckon this will be quite good with a stock shock which normally needs almost full pre-load to get a quick steering feel.

I may still go for an adjustable one as my Wilburs is stiffer sprung and sits a fair bit higher already, so a 5mm ride is probably ideal for me, and I can dial in an extra 5mm when setting off on a two-up tour.
