I have been using the zumo and ultimate's in ear monitors for a while now.
mainly for listening to tunes on a trip and the Nav stuff..

Got fed up with the wires flapping all over the place and snagging on stuff.

Thought i'd use the BT capability of the Zumo, so instead of going for a Scala/autocom (because i'm mormally solo) i googled for a Bt headset with a3.5mm socket for seperate earphones. These things are normally worn in the ear for handsfree use.

Found a couple and went for the Sony one

It works as expected :bounce1:bounce1 ...no more wires :clap

I will pair this with a BT phone when it arrives (£22.47 at Tesco)and if the wife wants to speak urgently!!! or i need to make a call i SHOULD be able to flip the Shoei and talk into the BT dongle thing. I don't have any faith in the voice stuff working whilst moving due to wind noise etc

HTH somebody...

i think you've ordered the wrong thing.... the bluetooth out of the Zumo is not stereo i think you need to get a bluetooth adaptor to fit the 3.5 stereo output on the Zumo.. that transmits stereo audio... then get a stereo reciving unit that you plug your ear monitors into.... you just need a stereo receving BT unit... not one with a mic built in.

i think that's it..... but i could be wrong:D

You're probably right on all counts

but tunes into both lug holes'll do me fine.
not exactly an audiophile with my cloth head hearing anyway!!
