I promised to upload some pictures of my home made stuff so here they are. When I first wanted a BMW, I was wooed by the whole Touratech / Wunderlich thing as many of us are. However on seeing the prices they were charging for stuff which I thought I could make in an hour or so, I made it my mission to make everything for my bike. The only things I backed out of were the pannier rack (I bought a Givi one for £100) and obviously the projector lamp units. I made the rack for my TDM 850 and it was a hell of a job, so I decided that buying one for the BMW would be easier. This lot too a fair amount of time but genuinely cost under £200 for everything (although to be fair I did have a lot of the scrap materials already)

OK.

The steering stopper is a door guard :D

My nick name at work is macgyver, apparently I'm always saying 'give me ten minutes I'll make you one of those'

Sometimes I wish I'd been an engineer instead of working in IT, for one I think I'm much better at welding and fabricating stuff than staring at a screen all day.

So use the IT income to set yourself up a nice little workshop and start producing farkles :thumb2

You'd be in fine company here.......quite a few people have done it :beerjug:

Finding a niche product is the tricky bit though.

Excellent work there.. liking that a lot! :thumb

How about a replacement headlight unit for the 1150's so that we have twin lights the same size..... similar to your 1100 model ? :thumb2

I see a jump in demand for second hand Kawasaki ZXR 400 H2 headlights :D

Well done
