Notts to Monaco Solo :)

Ok so having left to head south this is the road on the southern side of the Tunnel. lovely, as it drops towards the sea it goes through cliffs and is a truly great road.

So after losing all my beer money in the casino and getting thrown out for looking like a tramp (in a 800 quid twat suit!!), I staggered out for breakfast in a nearby cafe armed with standard trip gear, GPS , Map, food :)

After the obligatory "Ive made it to the coast" photo the next day, I headed back up the same road to the tunnel intending to route to near Cuneo and then left west to French alps again :)

Tunnel in better weather but on the far side i was crossing a big col in cloud, although dry it got to -2 on top :(

So into France again and sadly came across an accident, french biker lost it and low sided, car avoided bike, sadly not rider. Managed to help his mates assess him and get help, I slowed down for a bit strangely, this is the only photo happy to put up of this as have tried to be discreet but wanted to put it in as it was part of trip.

Dossed in cheap hotel in Montgenevre, again obligatory beer and map, never far from a shagging map ever :)

(shagging being used as an expletive, i dont own an actual shagging map although Im sure theres a market for them )

Now the long trek North, having said that some great N roads, lovely D roads and great coffee stops, I just picked arbitrary towns off map and they were all beautiful.

I have horrible visions of French bikers doing the same and saying "ah Warrington, this will be beautiful non?" :(

Beaune and Ronsa

As planned ended up camping at Memling site near Brugge, good facility if youre headed that way.

As I said earlier, having been all over world with work Brugge is still one of my top 3 places to visit, its fantastic.

The tower is the one on In Brugge movie where Brendan Gleeson takes a dive:(
