Dispite the rain we thought a day in Wales would be worth a go
Boy was it wet and slippy

Well it was on a GS

Talk about washed away in places

This does not show how steep this realy was

Or how slippy it was...To steep to stand the bike up by far

Out in the open it was as wet as November

Even the little DR was sinking

Rob watched me struggle then looked for a firmer route

Off he went looking confident

In full control

Well almost...Could be the cheap footpegs were to blame mate

Not that he was on the pegs that much mind you

Pleanty of water to clean the bikes

Good job Gaz was not on the 12 he would have empted the puddle

Little and large

All in all another great day out in sunny Wales

Rob found out just how interesting a pig could be in the MUD and not a single
Cheers Boys roll on next weekend

And what a contrast to where i was a couple of weeks ago getting roasted

Nice to see a rare photo of my bike on it's side

rare because I've normally picked it up with my well practiced technique before any one has had the chance to get the camera out

ahhh Wales with a sprinkling of water (hose pipe ban shortly)

Garry has a gentle meander through the welsh countryside

a day out in the sticks wouldn't be complete without the odd stream (well not that odd really, water flowing down hill )

Gaz on the DR 350, he wanted to bring the gs 12 on tourances but we told him that we wouldn't come out to play if he did

all in all a very tiring day with about 5 hours riding off road, my legs and shoulders are still aching

thoroughly enjoyable

respect to the hpn replica it went places on a knackered back tyre that my 1150 adv span the back wheel on just letting out the clutch at tickover.
In places there wasn't enough grip to stop you sliding backwards with the brakes on, hummmm
