Neat! :D although I am sure highly illegal ;)

Well the pics can be seen but I'm none the wiser..... Looks like you have got a transisitor radio mounted behind your number plate (which incidently has white paint all over it) . So what happens when you turn the radio on ?

Been available for some time.

I don't know about Oz but if found with that fitted in the UK, you'd get done for "Attempting to Pervert the Course of Justice" an Indictable offence.

Penalty = Transportation to the Colonies for life!!! :D

this takes 2 secomds to open or close and is only breaking the law if you are caught with it open as they can not touch the bike it's self. Worked here as Transport Officer for 21 years.

Minor problem: This means you have to spot all speed cameras ahead of you, within the 2 seconds it takes to open. Oh, add another second for reaction time to pressing the button.

Which means if you miss any speed cameras, you still nicked.

Not really, when on a country road, tis open and watch the mirrors, here if caught with it open $110.00 fine which is less than a speeding ticket. It is geared at 1300 to one so if grabbed it appears screwed shut, if it wasn't for that it could open in 1/2 second as the gear box is adjustable.

200 years ago that was horrid, but these day the 'colonies' seem to be very nice places to live, unless you encounter the colonials. You know, the ones with the inherited scars around their ankles.

That looks incredibly crude & clumsy,I had a "flip tip" number plate marketed over here by "bike2 track",sold as a, ahem "track day accessory" it was a third of the thickness of the plate fitted to the bike in the pics, the number plate was hinged in the middle and when activated (in less than half a second) the bottom half of the plate obscured the top half, and a red l.e.d. let you know it was "activated" :D
I fitted reflective yellow background to both sides, with numbers & letters on one side only,oh what fun I had:rolleyes:
Never fitted it to the Adventure though, sold it to someone on this forum last year;)

2 wheel humvee,
The reason it is as large as it is, is to evade detection at a road side check, visible hinges, splits and the like are a give away and receive a fine, the whole reason for this design is concealment when closed.

I see you stole the hinges from the kitchen cupboards!!!;)

I just put a bit of black tape on my plate to make the F into E.

Then let 'em sort it out.

If i'm caught, someone's put tape on my plate, oh dear .

I'm sure it works too, about three weeks ago I spotted a Talivan while in the car and I'm sure I was doing 35 in 30 area but no NIP so far.
