Number plates

I was plodding down the road today, Rochester Maidstone road in my little Polo. I moved over to let a yellow GS passed. He had one of those 'old style' plates the BMs always used to have. The letter at centre top, followed by 3 digits under that and the final three below that. I want one! Where do I get one? Does anybody know??

I think I read somewhere that you can't (legally) use the old style ones anymore - they were outlawed a couple of years ago? I'm sure someone will correct me though!

If it was first registered before 01.09.2001 you can display the three line type.

I need to get a new plate, current one is two lines but the new one will be in three, it'll look better and be legit...!!
