Picked up my 2016 GSA with gear shift assist thingy on Wednesday and absolutely love it
. Have had 2 GS,s in the past and a 2010 twin cam GSA. Just part exchanged my Triumph Explorer 1200 and its like chalk and cheese, the GSA feels so much lighter than the Explorer, even when pulling it out of the garage. The gear shift assist is very addictive on the upshifts but needs a bit of practice i think when dropping down the gears, just slightly open the throttle and it slips in quite smoothly not even blipping the throttle. Not found the gears clunky at all.
Done 450 miles so far and i am very pleased with it
.
Off to put some more miles on it
