Yup ! Love the NorthWest200, been going for over 10 years now. A great event, nothing prepares you for the speed and the respect these guys demand racing between the kerbs, walls and hedges on public roads. I love the mass start and number of races which take place in one day. Last year being the first year where event had to be abandoned due to the weather and other incidents, but I still had my annual high of the road trip over there and meeting with friends and getting the craic.
Hopefully this year will be even better with the extra racing taking place on the Thursday evening too. I blagged an extra day away, so will toootle up from the ferry on the day and watch some evening racing to get the weekend started, fantastic.

My mate and myself have been going for several years now, stay in Ballycastle, good digs there too. Used to go to the TT and Manx, but too expensive now, love the NW200.

Am going again. Been going since 1995. Big changes from back then. Bit too much PR crap now. Last year was a disaster. Prefer the Ulster GP to the NW 200. The wee National races are also good craic. Think Armoy might be on the cards. Stena are doing motorcycle day trip rates. Get an early am sailing & the 20.00hr sailing back to Stranraer. Long day, but worth it.

Ricalnic,

Link for the official UGP website www.ulstergrandprix.net . If you are staying over on the Friday night. Can recommend Days Inn Belfast. Only 20 mins ride up to Dundrod. If you need any further info ? Just give me a shout.

Regards Allan
