My hopes of Bringing the basket Case R100GS were pretty much dashed this last couple of weeks BUT progress has been made and even getting it running by the time I leave on friday will be a helluva an acheievement

Great for racing But for me seeing the old bikes and hearing them run and ride in and the smell or warm oil and 2 stroke

Brings me back to the 70s as a child at the Ulster Grand prix and at the NW200

Yep, wish I was going on the Friday but could only get tomorrow off work.

Went up to Wednesday practice today, York Corner Grandstand was only a fiver so a good view from Primrose and up towards the roundabout. Great weather and put a few miles on the new Speed 400. Irwin impressive, Todd a bit raggedy and Dunlop looked faster than both but wasn't.

Yep, up from today, staying and watching just above church / dhu varren. Seems to be lots of Europeans and even some from England here (best avoided).

Today's fascinating fact. Donington 2000. That was Rossi's first win in the Premier (then) 500cc class.

Three scamera vans on the A26 between Ballymoney and Ballymena on Wednesday - and that was just on a practice day!
