After a full English tomorrow morning at the Ace Cafe, Metisse and I are off on our 1200ADVs on a tour of Scotland before heading over to Ballycastle in Norn Iron on Thursday to watch the NW200 http://www.northwest200.org/ Anyone else going?

Unfortunalty not, for the same reason I've never been to LeMans 24hr.

For me it is Too close (timewise) to the IOM TT to do both.
Have a great trip.

Take a load of pics please.

Don't worry you won't be alone !
Over one hundred thousand people turn up and the weather forecast is really good.
Try half way down the straight into Coleraine to watch riders airborne at around 200 mph.

Thankfully the forecast is better than last few years. As I live inside the circuit I'll definitely be there!

No. I'm not going this year. Humph.
Mind, if I'm not there the weather should be smashing.

Have a good one:thumb2

I think we'll be on the same ferry. Almost 1,000 miles since leaving the Ace on Sunday riding through the Cairngorms via Dumfies in the West to Johnshaven on the East coast via Ballater, Birkhall, Scourie, Ullapool, and now enjoying Skye. Stunning mountains, roads and the odd wee dram. Off towards Troon tomorrow and very much looking forward to the Larne to Ballycastle coast road on Thursday.

I went up for Tuesday's practice, watched at York Corner. Came home with a sunburnt face  Saturday's forecast is a bit iffy at the moment, let's hope they're wrong about that.

Called into the bookies on the way home for a fiver on Rutter, smooth as silk and fast as f*ck. Dark horse ;)

He's also on a 1200GSA??? What a hero. First man to win the NW wearing a Twat Suit and an Arai TourX. Must have left pannier skids all over the circuit.

I really want to try the NW200, when I've had the opportunity we have done the TT, next year we are off to the Manx so maybe NW200 in 2016.

Enjoy and post pics please.

Bump, reminder for those not going today's all day live feed of practice/qualifying/racing

10:00-20:45

Superbikes just about to head out for their session

Just a heads up for anyone attending, Every speed camera hand held, Police Cars and Bikes with cameras WILL be out in force and YOU will not get off with a rollicking. The police have a field day at this event EVERY year. Stick to 30 m.p.h. Limits and don't be tempted to open up Before you leave the 30 m.p.h. Limit. From Larne or Belfast ferries stick to the limits the WHOLE way .Enjoy the Racing and Enjoy the roads BUT don't be going home With POINTS and a FINE.Francis

Have to agree, but having said that found the NI Police to be very biker friendly and welcoming. The ones we spoke to even gave us tips on best places to watch. Great event and great people,in fact as we came out of Sainsburys in Colraine one day a little old lady came up to the 4 of us and thanked us for coming. I wish I was going this year.
