o ring in service kit?

hi everyone, just received my service kit for the r 1150 from motorworks, can anybody tell me what this rather large rubber o ring is for, that came with the 12,000 mile service kit. thank you eric.

Seal on the Fuel pump flange proabably but you normally don;t need it for a 12,000 mile service Its a 24,000 mile for a change in the UK

Not a service item old chap Need to be ordered as an extra

Here's the deal 4 inch diamter it's the fuel pump flange 1 inch diameter its one o fthe fillers in the left rocker cover

I think for the oil filler cap seat into the rocker cover.

O RING

sounds like you have the kit for k series which have a cover bolted over the oil filter hole.
kit will fit. only difference is the extra o ring.

thanks lads, should have said its size was about 4inches in dia, but i was late for the pub. after a couple of pints it came to me, that it would ony fit the fuel pump.

i got an O ring in my oil filter each time from Moto Bins - couldn't fathom it either. It was for the filler seat. Not as big as yourn thow.
