OBD scanner/fault reader

does anyone know of a cheap fault reader for these bikes ? I know many other bikes and cars you can buy a scanner for £20-30 as I did for my Tuareg . I can't find anything for the Xcountry except for a GS911.

I’ve recently used a cheapo OBD scanner that I’ve had for years on my GS1250. Gave me a code and let me clear it. I’d imagine as long as the port fitment is the same you’d get a code at the very least? Just a guess though.

I've used Motoscan on android with UniCarScan module and adapter cable to fit the round socket on the bike. Not sure where I got it from but could have been from here https://www.bmdiag.co.uk/motoscan-bmw-motorcycle-diagnostic-kit. Not that cheap, but less than the GS911
