Shame the GS 30th anniversary do was a flop. On from 10 'til 10 so arrived at 5pm to find the hog roast being packed into the back of a van, no entertainment and no sign of Steve Saunders :(

There were only three bikes in the car park (including mine) so maybe everyone had a hangover after watching the football.

Hi Dick

Sorry you missed the Hog roast - we started roasting it at 5.00am on Saturday morning, started serving at 12.00 midday and it was pretty much stripped to the bone by 4.00pm!

Again, sorry you missed Steve Saunders doing some tricks and stunts for us - he was at the Dealership from 9am Saturday morning and put on several shows for us on his trials bike during the day - only giving up when the windscreen and the sunroof on the old car he was riding over cracked - I've attached a brief video of Steve riding over the car on our BMW F800GS!

Whilst I'm sure your realise we put on these events in order to promote our business and ultimately sell more BMW bikes, clothing, accessories, service, etc, etc. the staff all put in a great deal of extra time and effort to make sure that our customers enjoy themselves whilst they are here - it tends to feel better if you are having a good time when you're spending money, don't you think?

The 10am -10pm opening hours offered potential customers the chance to take a demo ride at a time and pace they were comfortable with and we found there was a steady stream of customers spread throughout the day rather than all coming in at once - our last customer left after 9.00pm!

Once again, apologies if you missed the entertainment and food - please print this note and present it to the Cafe for complimentary refreshments next time you visit.

Kind regards
