the battery on my 06 gs is finally showing signs of ageing. after what ive read on the subject its not been unexpected. i am going to get the recommended option of the odyssey battery from motorworks, but am slightly confused about a suitable charger. i have the bmw charger, but reading the info on the battery, motorworks say they strongly recommend the ctek xs3600 charger. i haven't got a problem with the bmw charger , but my question is this, will the bmw charger charge the odyssey battery or is there a real good reason they are recommending the ctek one.
cheers

I say to keep it short - follw the advice. :rob
If you go searching in this "really deep and murky water" you are likely to end up wet and exhausted, or at best older and wiser - that is: Still confused, but (possibly) at a higer level. (All I know is that I'm growing old)

Use the BMW one - you can plug it straight in to the accessory socket. Both are AGM batteries.

I have an Odyssey PC535 and the genuine BMW charger. The charger appears to operate in a similar fashion with both the stock and Odyssey batteries - cycling through the lights and taking roughly the same time to get to 3/3.
