I was looking for a new front brake set as mine will be due pads & discs later on this year. When i enquired at my local BMW dealer, the discs are £200 each! Motorworks had Brembo discs on offer at £175 each.
I checked on eBay and found a dealer in Scotland selling a set of discs for £290! It's a significant saving - details below.

This is OEM part number

Which fits these Bikes;

eBay advert - only 2 sets remaining

Was chatting
Odd given that Douglas Park is a BMW dealership.
Was chatting to a friend on the parts desk at my local BMW when picking up a set of rear pads for the last car for what felt like an absolute steal - there's a system that tracks "overage" stock if it's been sat on the shelf (and by extension their books) for a while. I think it's a right time right place sort of thing (or hope they have an apprentice that orders 12 instead of 2!) so would guess it works the same way for motorrad.

In any business there is a considerable overhead involved in holding inventory on the shelf (which infuriates the efficiency bods and bean counters).

This is why many businesses adopt a "just in time" or a "Kanban" system to minimise or negate the need to hold stock.
