Off road day 4th March Bagshot £45

Cold and wet but a great day, the airhead did well especially on the Alpine Course blasting up the hills.

There were a few bikes to borrow, jumping from the airhead to a 125cc 4 stroke Husky was interesting, no power but the ability to lean back when stuck on a hill to lift the front wheel was a novelty.

Very wet ride home with the motorway spray defeating the gortex On the rally suit and the waterproof on BMW winter gloves

The sandy soil meant you quickly dug holes if you lost momentum

Hiya Wreford, damn I thought I recognised that bike but didnt get the chance to say hi! I was on the 450, a hole digging machine if ever there was one in those conditions!

Hurrah! Pinky Tiff .. didn't know you were there or I'd have come and said hello. (you delivered my bike to Chartham Nr canterbury for vines 18 months ago...)

Yes, great day.

There is another BLORC event at Mereworth on April 1st. Again, it's army ground and will be a very similar set up - catering, medics, cheap! and good company.

Hope to see you there ... :thumb2

Well I was there on my KTM EXC-F. I bumped into Wreford and few folks from SurreyTRF, but didn't see Pinkytiff, or indeed any G450X's !

The weather was indeed foul when I turned up at 10am, but it eased a bit and we had another couple of heavy showers. Then at about 2pm we had snow; FFS !!!!

I thought that this was a really good value event. How often do you get to ride single track like that legally ??

ATB
Mike.
