Off road green lane weekends

If anyone is interested, we run weekends into wales with 4x4's We only use legal byways and check with the rights of way office to make sure we only use "open" lanes.

We always camp, and the weekends are done in a very proffesional way. We always have a lot of fun. We take support vehilces with tyre repair equipment first aid kits and sat phones.. and lots of bacon and beer! If anyone is interested in joing us on our next trip, they would be most welcome!

Sounds good, which part of Wales do you specialise?
What are the 'support vehicles' for exactly? They must be very dedicated LR drivers to provide a free service to lads on trail bikes.
Where do you meet and how many rider/bikes do you cater for?

Whoops.. sorry, I posted in the wrong place... I will be a bit more careful! I have had great evening surfing around the info on the forum, and I am very impressed.

Our weekends are in both North and South Wales and vary from month to month. Tracks include Rahyder, strata florida, happy valley, saarn helen, the gap road to mention just a few. The weekends are wild camps, and the idea behind them is to cover aspects of vehicle dependant travel.. be it a 4x4 or a motorcycle. We dont allow anyone who is a part of our group to around and rip up the countryside as we dont want to cause damage. There are plenty of people out there using the lanes badly and getting us all a bad name.. both on bikes and in 4x4's....

The support vehicle are well equipped cars that we have prepared and are driven by experienced people. They are there to help if someone gets stuck ... this is quite often!Its a lot about camping, vehicle preparation and having fun. We dont take anymore than 10 vehicles at a time. It would suit anyone interested in vehicle dependant travel, rather than off road enduro stuff... I can send info if anyone wants some, or just give me a call on my mobile.. 07720896909
