I would go for something cheap like a HJC helmet, the lining comes out for washing. A big plus when they start to smell as if something has died in it.
Don't wear glasses myself but I woiuld suggest goggles with the double anti fog lenses along with quick straps to make them easy to pull on and off.

Are these standard terms?

So if I went to a shop and say those words .. I am not going to get the sales assistant look at me as if I was wasting his time? :nenau

Something with a visor................a la Tour X (many cheaper stuff out there though)

Hate wearing googles with specs, although I suffered it for years

I used to wear contact lenses for bog-hopping.....Just cheap daily disposables, purely as I found that there was NO way to stop your specs fogging up under a pair of goggles. But remember to take a spare pair in a small crush proof container cos if one comes out ( like one of mine did) you'll be able to see on the way home.:blast

Oh and +1 for quick release straps !!
