off road maps?

The obvious answer is the TRF.

But if you want maps for your GPS, it's a bit trickier. You can transfer information from paper maps to the computer and upload to the GPS as a track log, that's what I do and eventually you build up a decent database of good lanes to ride on the computer. I use OS mapping software called Fugawi but others use Memory Map and similar - they are all much the same.

You can also get some information about green lanes from this site: http://www.way-finder.co.uk/ but it's not very user friendly :)

Garmin has just announced TOPO Great Britain v2 and at £149 may be affordable - it's also routable on "roads"!

They are being coy however about which GPSRs it will run on. However at the Basingstoke show the rep said it would run on a Quest and the Mapsource demo (full UK OS mapping down to 200feet) shows it on an eTrex

I have the same question as Kritou, will this be any good for roads. I am debating to upgrade to Version 7 City navigator but as most of my riding is UK based would this new product be more suitable for me, doing a bit of off roading etc etc
