just collected my GS 800 last week, i want to start with some light off road riding, any body any ideas where i can go or anybody headin out some time??

There's a small forest in the Mournes between Spelga and Kilkeel-where you can get into-its the first woodland on the right about two miles towards Kilkeel, myself and the Heff of this site did a circut round it on a rough lane (that would be my limit) however there are smaller tracks running off the lane. Also for info at low tide you can ride round the edge of Dundrum Bay, there's a wee road on the Ballykinlar side(just before the army camp as you approach it from Clough) that goes down to the bay from there you can ride out to the mouth of the bay where it joins the sea-i haven't done this on the bike but i have driven the car along it to go for a spot of fishing

After my experience with Terry & Brian at the HU event[INSERT JOKE], I'd be well up for that Mournes track.
Any other NI folk fancy sorting an offroad run sometime?

As mentioned by Esoxlucius, we go out regularly looking for something different. The track in the Mournes wasn't that difficult, but it would be down to rider experience. We venture out most Sundays, mostly with an early start, but that doesn't suit everybody. I will be posting a more few runs on here soon, so keep a look out and feel free to come along and we could add this track in...
