Hi all
Been running Michlin Deserts off road at about 28psi rear and 26psi front.

Fitted new ones today ready for Tarenig Rally next week.:D
So HP2ERS, could I please have your thoughts for, off road tyre pressure in general and recomendations for differant terrains:confused:

The deserts have pretty stiff side walls so you can run pretty soft. The only downside is you will get a lot more wear if you're doing any road work, particularly at speed.

Only doing off-road work - I go to 18-20. But I'm not an expert on tyre pressures... most of the time I don't have a gauge and just let some out till they feel soft enough :blast

Good luck with the rally :thumb2

I've just fitted MT21's on the XC ready for next weekend - I'll be running them around 18PSI.

I reckon you should be looking at Mav's recomendation.

At the Cambrian last year I'd just had my XC serviced and the dealer had put 30 PSi in the tyres - On MT 21's again the bike was a fun with the back stepping out and not so much fun with a lack of front end confidence.

Thank you Mav:thumb Is that front 18 and rear 20 or about that in front and rear?
Have you ever removed your indicators, does it effect the cambus:rob as I was thinking of removing them for the rally less to damage:D

looking foward to the Rally was out yesterday on the byways, but she started to cut out when selecting gears to pull off:mad: feckin side stand switch gave it a good kicking and limped home:blagblah will mod it again today, last time it went for a BMW service they put a new stand, switch and stand bracket on. Should have kept my modification wire and fecked the switch of then:blast
