Off to Peru... looking a little damp

Am off next Wednesday (with a small group) to ride the northern Andes in Peru - looking like the wet weather gear will be needed .

A nightmare for the poor Peruvians especially on the coast and northern plains. Road closures in the mountains where we are heading look a bit better:

As all GSers know, preparation for arduous motorcycle trips is key.................
So I have been getting my conquistador preparation in (whilst sorting out old tennis rackets and their covers!)

Checked in by 0520 . Luggage weighed in at 20.6 ngs....Well below the magic 23kgs limit. That's what comes if loading kits if motorcycle gear.
