Bought the Mrs a new laptop last March I bought office 360 without thinking
Bloody wants me to pay a yearly subscription of £70
Is that right?
In the past just bought it as a one off
Is there anyway round this or a. I stuck
As it covers 5 laptops anyone would have a code j could use ?
Seems a bit of a rip off or is it just me ??

You can use the code for any mac, Ipad, windows machine - and yes, you could club together with others - to pay for it?

(It's 365, by the way )

Or - pay someone on ebay for a year's license for one machine? BUT - I'm not sure how the cloud drive would work in that case.

Single machine license seems to be about £20

If you do find anywhere selling an legit original licence at a reduced price, you can buy more than one and install them. I did this when a company had a promotion on, and paid £60 for 2 years, which I don't object to.

I know it doesn't help you right now ragerover, but may in the future.

Or, if you are really sensible:

Buy an earlier version on Ebay.
and that way you pay a lot less, and do not have to
give Microshit money each year to keep it working.
OK, so it does not have some of the bells and whistles
of the current version, but do you need them or will you
miss them?
It is possible that Microshit have modified their systems so that it may not
work with 64 bit systems, so check before you buy.
I know that they took the opportunity to do modify the 64 bit operating systems to make them in some cases incompatable with 32 bit programmes.
