A group of us have organised a trip to Morocco in September with Motoaventures under Patsy Quicks guidance.
Unfortunately, due to financial pressures a couple of the lads have had to drop out. The trip is still going ahead, but I thought if anyone here would be interested in joining us, it would be nice to have a few extra peeps along for the craic. The more the merrier!:beerjug:

Here's the details
Its on the 13th to 20th of September. A group of about 10 riding KTM450EXCs from Ouarzazate down through Morocco, with a truck following with our luggage, staying in different places along the way.
Its all offroad riding, and we hope to be having lots of fun in the dunes. :bounce1

The price is €2300 (1963stg at todays rate), which includes bike hire, fuel, GPS, accommodation and meals (not beer!), support vehicle, 3rd party insurance. You have to organise your own flights out.

As it will be ramadan while were there, we've issued special instructions to have the truck stocked with plenty of beer for the evenings!!

PM me if you're interested in taking one of the spots :thumb

I can't flippin wait!!!:JB

Are you seriously paying £2000 for a week?

Eek!

I appreciate it includes everything, but I'm stunned at the price. I've just booked a ferry to Spain for three of us to ride Morocco in October, and I'll be disappointed if the trip costs more than £1500 each for the whole three weeks...

But hey, I hope you have a cracking time all the same! :o)

I appreciate that, but ONE WEEK? Even a five month trip on the Trans America's is only £18k, which equates to £900 a week, and that includes shipping the bike to and from Alaska / Argentina...

Ten riders, equals twenty grand for the week. Five weeks of that a year and there's a hundred grand! There's your initial layout costs covered, so everything else is profit.

I'm not knocking the people running it, if their business model works then good luck to them.:thumb2
