Hi All,

Finally bit the bullet and took the GS offroad (well it was a gravel road) and had a great time. The road was from Bucketty (On the Sydney-Wollombi road) and came out at St Albans. Was a good road to learn on and I now have the bug.

Can anyone reccomend some similar rides north of sydney, something nice and easy for the moment whilst i get confident to change into third gear!

Regards

Great road that one, next step is the other side of the wolombi rd and explore the wattigans, there is a turn of at buckitty too.

Thanks for the tip, I've heard people talk about the Watigans but thought it must be for "serious" moto x bikes etc so will check it out when it finally stops raining. I used to spend ages looking for new sealed roads to explore on the ZZR, now with the GSA its the opposite.

Cheers

Do an off raod training course - <$300 for 2 days training .. it will improve for riding and your confidence .. designed for GSes .. usually advertised over on Adventrure rider ... under the local forums - Australia/NZ/Asia .. should be one around Feb March .. bit warm to do it now ..
